I am Achal Vohra, a filmmaker and film editor interested in stories
that live in silences, gestures, and the fragile spaces of human
connection. My films move between fiction, nonfiction, and experiment,
always searching for intimacy and rhythm.
I studied Film Studies at Ambedkar University Delhi, and am currently pursuing an MFA in Film Editing at SRFTI Kolkata. Over the years, I’ve worked across short
films, documentaries, and ads, including contributing to RV Ramani’s
National Award-winning Oh That’s Bhanu. I have also conducted film
workshops for people pursuing acting, filmmaking, and film studies,
sharing my approach to cinema as both craft and inquiry.
